My Story
I’m Keith Scheafer, and my career has been anything but a straight line. I’ve driven a truck, worked as a radio DJ, sold insurance, and built and lost an online business. At 67, I decided I wasn’t done learning, building, or starting over.
KeithScheafer.com is where I share what I’m learning now: how to use AI practically, how to spot hype before it costs you money, and how to build something real instead of chasing the next shiny promise.
I’m not a guru, and I don’t pretend to have every answer. What I have is a lot of hard-earned experience, including lessons that were expensive, embarrassing, or both.
Those experiences taught me a simple rule: when urgency, hype, or fear is pushing you to act, wait a day. Slow down. Check the facts. Then make the decision that is right for you.
I’ll test ideas, explain what I learn in plain English, and be honest about what works, what doesn’t, and who should think twice.
